Dr Mark Mellor is a Specialist General Practitioner (FRACGP) with additional qualifications in psychology and neuroscience. He has completed the accredited WA ADHD GP Program, developed by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in partnership with the Australasian ADHD Professionals Association.
As a participating GP in the WA ADHD GP Program, Dr Mellor is trained and authorised to assess and diagnose ADHD, develop individualised treatment plans, and initiate and manage ADHD stimulant medication for suitable patients aged 16 years and older. He works collaboratively with psychologists and other health professionals, recognising the importance of a comprehensive assessment and combining medication with practical, psychological and behavioural support where appropriate.
Dr Mellor brings a holistic, evidence-based and non-judgemental approach to ADHD care, with particular attention to each person’s physical health, mental wellbeing, daily functioning and individual goals.
